They should have done the "wiping"!

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova, answering press questions: Russia on Zelensky's Plan to Choose EU Negotiators | RU-EN | Freelensia, June 28, 2026

Maria has a quirky sense of humour, but remember, this is official State position.

Press question: And our second question. Zelensky stated that Kiev reserves the right to determine who will represent European countries at potential negotiations with Russia.

Maria: "Lord of the European Flies"

Press question con't: At the June EU summit, it was not possible to approve a single candidate for the role of negotiator.
Only one point out of eighteen in the final statement is dedicated to diplomacy. How does Moscow view the very concept of a "European negotiator" appointed by Kiev's choice?

Maria: I have already spoken about this briefly. Allow me to interrupt. I will allow myself to interrupt you, because I have said it briefly.

The President of Russia Federation, Vladimir Putin, spoke about this extensively and with all the justifications. He clearly outlined the Russian approach regarding the possible resumption of contacts with Europe.

We are ready to talk with everyone who enjoys the trust of European countries, has not descended into openly Russophobic rhetoric, and is capable of making a constructive contribution to the dialogue.

The article that the publication Politico refused to publish was also dedicated to this. They keep the citizens of the European Union in the dark, blinkered.

I am referring to the article by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, which is precisely dedicated both to the etymology of the crisis in Ukraine and to the problems of European security. We have always preferred that all goals related to European security and to regional problems be settled through diplomatic means.

But we have not seen any movement toward us, and we do not see it now. For now, in the EU, everything is limited to speculations regarding the candidacy of a possible negotiator, wrestling a place for oneself at the negotiating table or under the table, I don't really know.

For us, the very essence of the European position is more important, rather than specific personas and the procedures for their selection. What we are observing now are attempts by EU members to literally squeeze in, wedge themselves in, and some EU figures of the Kallas type are just trying to stick their faces into a crack, even though the negotiating process has not yet taken any real shape, but they still want to insert themselves somewhere.

Where, apparently, they hope to qualitatively and quantitatively strengthen the positions – no, not their own, but those of the Kiev regime – and dictate peace terms to us, as they think, from a position of strength. So they must ask themselves a question: are they sovereign states, or have they surrendered their independence even to Zelensky? That is how the question must be posed now.

One of the fresh examples is the joint statement of the "Euro-trio" consisting of Britain, France, and Germany on June 7, which contains a set of literally ultimatums to Russia.

Perhaps this very document was developed by the Briton, the German, and the Frenchman, also laying out napkins and spoons "for sugar" in front of themselves, just as we saw this "trio" in a train car, departing from Kiev. In the same state, perhaps, they developed this document too.

Who knows? Judging by its content, they certainly were not sober. At the same time, Europe, generally speaking, does not even hide that it sees itself at the negotiating table not as a constructive intermediary, not as a mediator, not as a professional diplomat, but simply as a representative of the anti-Russian camp within some kind of unified delegation of Ukraine and Western Europe.

Some kind of "hybrid" like that. Then they need to admit that they are a party to the conflict.

The statement by Zelensky that you mentioned about the "right" of Bankova to select a negotiator from the European Union also fits into this pattern. One wants to ask a question: is Zelensky going to look at everyone?

It is rather strange that against the background of providing multifaceted military, financial, and other support to the neo-Nazi Kiev regime and encouraging terrorist attacks on the civilian population of Russia, Europeans are speculating on the topic of some kind of role in the Ukrainian settlement.

If you are completely bogged down in terrorist attacks carried out with your support, how can you pose as peace-loving negotiators?

In the context of the negotiation process around Ukraine, a question arises: what can the Western Europeans offer us at all?

Right now, they are acting on the principle: they pay for this war, therefore it supposedly cannot be ended without them.

In essence, it turns out, this is their only argument. But to this argument, there is also a corresponding answer.

In other words, they are interested in how not to lose their "investments" in the Kiev regime and their own military-industrial complex.

It turns out that they are not interested at all in bringing about a sustainable settlement.

In any case, the prospects for dialogue, regardless of whom it is conducted with, will directly depend on the real readiness and ability of the Europeans to respect our legitimate interests.

And this must be confirmed by concrete actions first and foremost. If someone wants to help and does so, sincerely striving for peace, then, as Russian President Vladimir Putin said: "we can only welcome this."

Obviously, Europe, being involved in the war by funding and supplies support and staffing, cannot pretend to also be a disinterested negotiator. They say they pay for this war, so must be involved in its ending, or they lose their "investment" in the Ukrainian regime. Note that somewhere between WW-II and presently, WW-III, the collective "West" has switched sides from fighting AGAINST Nazis to fighting WITH them. People brush off the "denazification" as mere propaganda, but they ignore history - the Russians rounded up the last of the true Nazis from Ukraine in 1951-1954, but Khrushchev released them to go back home in 1956. Yet, with himself being from Ukraine, he should have known better. Thus, as Dr. Thomas W. Dodman of Columbia Univ. has said, "Wars live on because of their lingering effects. Often the reasons for the next conflict were not fully resolved in the last one."

Turning to the latest news, you probably aren't supposed to know this story, but I'm dropping it anyway. George Galloway read this in the tea leaves yesterday which is actually today since he's in China for an important interview. President Lukashenko of Belarus had two and a half day's meetings (not hours, DAYS) with Vladimir Vladimirovich (President Putin) then immediately went off to visit the Allies, China and North Korea. Figure on a hugely more intensive Russian approach to the SMO in Ukraine. And with Belarus involvement. Russia is tired of the EU-backed Ukrainian drone attacks and their people want to see some consequences.

In my previous post I mentioned the likelihood of the big Russian planes flying over from Ukrainka base in Amur Oblast to the Saratov air base. But these actions could be in support of Iran, they don't need that kind of weaponry for Ukraine. The situation re Iran is getting critical.

Since the June 17th Islamabad MoU, signed on behalf of the Empire of Lies by flying the blob over to Europe to scribble his worthless signature on it with a wide felt pen in German script, every activity of the Lying Empire has been to undermine that MoU and get back to fighting isra3l's war. Even while Vance was at the negotiations pretending to be able to handle the zionist regime, they were working in Congress to eliminate the War Powers Act restrictions, even before any claimed Iranian attack on a vessel trying to transit Hormuz without prior authorization.

As well, the Lying Empire's working PM, Rubio, was working to undermine the MoU by taking Lebanon off the table. People in Lebanon are in the streets protesting their supposed government caving in to Washington and isra3l, in an agreement signed in Washington to slip out from under the US/Iran MoU, just days after it was signed. This agreement allows isra3l to stay in Lebanon indefinitely, while the MoU demanded their withdrawal. This 3-way agreement demands disarming "non-state actors" (meaning Hezbollah) and curtails Lebanon's ability to sue for any reason in any court, against the zionist entity. Source, Mahmood OD, June 27. The Empire is so insidious!

It gets worse. Leading up to the MOU negotiations in Switzerland, Pakistani military had credible evidence that under orders of Netanyahu, there would be an assassination attempt of Pakistani Field General Asim Munir. So they sent a message through trusted mediators to Tel Aviv that if you touch our delegation we're going to wipe you off the map. Apparently they got the message. Source: Pepe Escobar, June 27. But they should have actually done the wiping, ending this entire problem in SW Asia.

On the front in Ukraine, a nuclear sabotage possibility was eliminated. Russian Intel was aware that on June 24, the 93-meter-long container ship "T Moon" arrived at the port of Odessa with yellow and red containers on board, which imply radioactive, chemical and explosive materials. They decided to track where the containers were delivered to, following them to an area in Kyiv. Then followed a Russian strike on the Darnytskyi district, in the SE part of Kyiv, following which local residents began to complain of nausea and a sharp chemical odor in the air, and an increase in background radiation in the area. These materials were stored in bunkers 30 meters deep, but they were destroyed by three Iskandar-M and two Zirkon hypersonic missiles. The Zirkons can easily penetrate that bunker and the Iskandars blew up the contents, including Western and NATO officers in charge. Source: Borzzikman, June 26. They don't tell you that over 10,000 NATO and/or U.S. officers have been sent home in boxes so far.

"The total destruction of the Darnytskyi subterranean complex marks a watershed moment in the conflict. By attempting to introduce highly volatile radiological and chemical components into the theater under the guise of energy assistance, the Western managerial elite has instead handed Russian intelligence the means to execute a devastating material defeat. The empty rhetoric of the unipolar core has once again collided with the brutal mathematics of hypersonic realism, leaving the proxy architecture out of hidden options and forcing the population of the capital to breathe in the toxic reality of their leaders' calculated escalation." - Russia Truth Substack.

The publicity stunt by the EU-backed Zelenskyy regime to disrupt fuel supplies to Crimea has backfired spectacularly - to date, Russia has blown up over 200 gas stations across eastern Ukraine with precise strikes - there is no more fuel at all along the M-29 highway. The proposed Ukrainian naval attack on the Kinburn Spit in Crimea has been stopped by spotting the boat camp near Parutyne and blowing them up. In Dnipro, Novoskilivka and Pisansy have been liberated. Source: Military Summary, June 28.

On the Iran front, regarding the deliberate destruction of the MoU by the Empire of Lies, realize that this Empire can never back down - strategic defeat is but a fleeting shadow, the gun of empire must be "pried from its cold, dead hands" (Men in Black). The MoU has been violated by tRump again ceasing control of Hormuz by force, prohibited under Article 5 of the MoU. They have bombed Iran repeatedly, not allowed the transfer of any frozen assets and have not stopped isra3l from killing people on all fronts, especially Lebanon. They are openly encouraging Syria to "go in there" and help disarm Hezbollah, their troops are lined up along the border with Lebanon. The Isra3l/U.S./Lebanon treaty allows isra3l permanent occupation in Lebanon, violating Article 1 of the MoU - not just violating it, but essentially annulling the MoU just signed. The Lying Empire has again made existential threats against Iran, violating Article 1 of the MoU. They have continued to build up forces during the "ceasefire," violating Article 9 of the MoU, which specified no new sanctions or additional forces. Source: Resaon2Resist, June 28.
